Tracey

I was introduced to Tracey at a conference I was attending and photographing. She was very keen to have her photograph taken which is unusual these days. It proved a great experience to try a few things off the cuff. The corridor had natural light pouring in through sky lights and the walls and background created an effective frame. The tricky part was balancing the light on white and black clothing to ensure there were no 'blow outs' on the white and the texture was captured on the variations of black.
It was also lovely to have someone who liked having their photograph taken. This made it rally easy to asked, suggest and work with her to try different poses. What was particularly gratifying was the combination of working with Tracey and me knowing what I wanted from the final image meant a series of pleasing photographs were created in 10 minutes.
